VCA now has 120 animal hospitals spread out over five Canadian provinces. It currently employs 300 licensed veterinarians and more than a hundred board-certified specialists who also provide community training.
Because physical distancing is encouraged due to the pandemic, telemedicine consultations are now being offered by the clinic. Clients can book an appointment for it so they can have a video chat, phone call, or text with their veterinarian without leaving their home.
As an added convenience, there’s an app called MyVCA for clients to download so they can consult a veterinarian 24/7. With it, they can easily access their pet’s vital information such as appointment reminders and vaccination history.
