But doing so made me miss a lot of gems far from the city center, including Manotick. 

After hopping in the car and exploring this suburban enclave, lo and behold, I found myself falling in love with it. Who knew Manotick would take the city girl in me and turn it into someone who loves green spaces and outdoor activities?

There are only a few shopping and dining options in Manotick, which might not be ideal for those who enjoy eating out regularly.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, the park offers a welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy the beautiful game.

The fish & fries earn its spot in the second place, thanks to its citrusy flavors and lemon butter batter. 

Here’s an insider tip: sitting by the patio is much recommended, especially during the warmer months, allowing you to fully soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

This unassuming gem is quite popular for its ice cream, despite its limited variety – that’s how good it is! In fact, most people come here just for it. 

The lemon lavender ice cream is a standout choice for sure. 

But of course, don’t miss out on their donuts as well. 

Aside from their tasty dessert options, they also have an array of drinks such as coffee, frappes, and tea.
